Well, where shall I start?I was on a solo, long distance cycle for 2 cancer charities, from Budapest to Rotterdam via the Danube and Rhine valleys when I needed the aid of a skilled mechanic.I had been cycling south of Strasbourg, September 19th, when the front rack came loose and threw me over the handle bars.I was OK but front forks needed replacing. Unable to find anyone in Strasbourg who could do the job at short notice I focused on Karlsruhe and found Dieter on line. Emailed and then phoned him.' I have a solution ', he said. Genau! Exactly! That's what I needed to hear.Took train to Karlsruhe, met Dieter.A gentleman with a positive, can do attitude.He took me and the badly damaged bike , a considerable distance, to his friend , Andreas Gruner, Zweiradmechaniker Meister.Andreas is a maestro regarding fixing a kaput bike. Over 2 hours later, job done!Dieter is a BMX specialist, doing a lot of work online with international customers from the USA to Australia.Please give this man a call or an email regarding your next purchases or upgrades.He goes the extra mile in his desire to meet a customer's needs.
